The County Party starts with voters and is built by volunteers. We are voters working together beyond the ballot: meeting each other, talking to neighbors, finding out who would be a good fit in a local office, helping them get elected by our fellow voters. County Parties all together make up the State Party: https://www.coloradodems.org/
Our County Party is fortunate to have many local donors, both recurring and occasional, who provide us with meeting spaces, materials, and services we use year-round.
"You. Me. Them. Everybody. Everybody." *
No matter where you live, what you look like, who you love, or how you worship, your Democratic neighbors want to make life better: to keep you Healthy, Wealthy, Wise, and Free.
"If you are willing to fight for someone you don't know, you are welcome here." -- Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, March 21, 2025 in Denver
Democrats strive to improve healthcare for everyone:
• Reducing drug costs & expanding coverage.
• Ensuring reproductive freedom, keeping care decisions between doctor & patient.
• Protecting the environment that our well-being depends on.
Democrats fight for our economic well-being:
• Building a strong foundation for our families with living wages, fair tax structures, helping people own a home.
• Working locally to support small businesses.
• Investing in climate solutions now to prevent higher costs later.
Democrats believe quality education is for everyone:
• Fighting to pay teachers & provide services for every district.
• Making college & trade programs accessible to everyone.
• Keeping our schools & campuses safe, so the focus can remain on learning.
Democrats believe we should all be free to:
• Cast our votes & have them counted.
• Decide for ourselves how to create & grow our families.
• Worship how, where, & if we choose.
• Negotiate with our employers on a level playing field.
